Modern high-temperature nickel alloys for critical monocrystalline castings of aircraft engineering are distinguished by a very complex alloying system, which causes their high cost and requires a careful approach to optimizing their chemical composition to ensure structural and phase stability, as well as a special approach to the smelting process, especially in the case of production from clean fresh components of the charge. The main technological process for the production and melting of such alloys today is vacuum induction smelting. As a result of the analysis of the physical properties of the grade composition elements of modern casting heat-resistant nickel alloys in vacuum at various temperatures, it was established by analytical calculations that Al, Cr, Co and Ni are subject to loss in the process of vacuum melting. Determined the amount of losses for the evaporation of these elements in the conditions of vacuum induction and electron beam melting. Based on the data obtained, the calculation of the charge was performed for conducting experimental vacuuminduction melting of modern casting heat-resistant nickel alloys using pure metal components. We studied the evaporation of a film of oxides on the surface of metallic charge materials when heated in a vacuum. It was found that a 5 minute exposure leads to an almost complete cleaning of the sample surface from the oxide film. Recommendations have been developed for conducting experimental heats of modern casting heat-resistant nickel alloys for monocrystalline castings doped with rhenium and ruthenium. We analyzed the processes occurring in vacuum during electron beam melting, including the features of the formation of a cast billet, refining of the melt and evaporation of metal components of heat-resistant nickel alloys. To obtain modern casting of heat-resistant nickel alloys for single-crystal castings doped with rhenium and ruthenium of improved quality, it can be recommended to re-melt by the method of electron beam melting. The calculation of the charge for the experimental vacuum-induction melting with subsequent electron-beam remelting of a modern casting heat-resistant nickel alloy using pure metal components has been carried out.
