A review of modern methods of electromagnetic effects in the metal during continuous casting of steel is presented. The features of the use of electromagnetic effects in tundish, mold, secondary cooling zone and final solidification zone are shown. The areas of application of such electromagnetic systems for the casting of various steel grades are indicated.
