The described constructions of rotor-conveyor lines (RCL) serve as examples of the implementation of innovative capabilities of high-performance casting processes, including the Lost Foam Casting process (LFС). Shown are examples of rotary devices created at PTIMA NAS of Ukraine. The concepts of high-speed casting of molds when moving a conveyor using an intermediate bucket, a rotor carrying butt mounted metering funnels, and also devices for supplying gas to the metal in the bucket under vacuum or with increased pressure to control the flow of metal are considered. The design of a slide gate for regulating the flow rate of metal on the RCL, as well as further plans for creating a new class of high-speed foundry processes, are considered. The implementation of extremely high-speed technologies for producing castings requires minimizing the solidification time of castings and obtaining molds that must be equally long in duration, which can be achieved by using casting patterns in the form of polystyrene foam monoblock with a pressure chamber on liquid metal, and with this pressure to intensify heat and mass transfer at the boundary «metal-mold». The rectilinear movement of the tool (tooling) simplifies operations on the LFC, including filling the mold with metal by moving the piston in the pressure chamber onto a portion of the metal according to the appropriate program with a given speed of movement of the metal in the mold regardless of the cross section of the casting walls being filled. Molding will be accelerated by the compaction of sand in the mold with the placement of vibration exciters on moving foundry containers with hanging them on the mold for the duration of its vibration and subsequent removal from it. Such procurement of RCLs opens up the possibility of restoration and sustainable development of domestic engineering for the production of products with high added value.
