Aims and Scope

The main goal and objective of the journal "Casting Processes" is to create a platform for the exchange of relevant scientific and technological information in the field of foundry production and related technological processes, which will contribute to the development of both applied and fundamental aspects of one of the most stable and large-scale industries in global production.

The journal Casting Processes is a peer-reviewed academic journal devoted to fundamental and applied research in the field of foundry production, metallurgy, and material science.

The journal publishes original research articles and review papers covering theoretical and experimental studies.

The scope includes, but is not limited to:

theoretical aspects of casting processes;
innovative foundry technologies and materials;
casting alloy design and modification;
control of solidification and microstructure & mechanical properties;
foundry processes computer aiding;
rapid prototyping;
mold making, mold materials and binders;
mold and gating design;
melting and liquid-metal treatment and transport;
modeling and simulation of metal flow and solidification;
post-casting treatments;
mechanization, automation and robotics in foundry;
castings quality management;
environmental protection

The journal is intended for researchers, early-career scientists (including PhD candidates), and professionals working in academia and technology-oriented industries.
