Проблеми вибору матеріалів керамічних форм для одержання фасонних виливків із титанових сплавів

Виробництво точного дрібносерійного або одиничного титанового литва є економічно і технологічно доцільним за умови використання одноразових керамічних ливарних форм. Надзвичайно важливим є вибір матеріалу внутрішнього контактного шару форми та забезпечення заданих технологічних характеристик – шорсткості, міцності, тощо. В ході аналізу, представленого в статті показано, що серед керамічних вогнетривів найкращу інертність до дії титанових сплавів демонструють оксид ітрію, цирконати кальцію та барію. Але через низькі технологічні властивості такі покриття не набули широкого застосування. Показано, що сполучні речовини також значною мірою впливають на інертність керамічних форм. Зменшення взаємодії титану з керамічними формами, які містять кремнезем у якості сполучної речовини, може бути досягнуто за рахунок введення мінімальної кількості SiO2. З екологічної точки зору замість етилсилікатів краще застосувати водні розчини кремнезолів. Перспективними сполучними матеріалами є також алюмозолі та золі цирконію. Визначено, що підвищення інертності корундових форм може бути досягнуто шляхом їх модифікування добавками дрібнодисперсного порошку титану, який при спіканні утворює захисний шар на поверхні форм, що зменшує взаємодію рідкого металу з керамічною формою. Відзначається, що механізм утворення реакційного (альфованого) шару на поверхні титанових виливків до цього часу точно не визначений. Міжфазні реакції між титаном та керамічною формою не можна передбачити лише термодинамічним розрахунком, а потрібно враховувати коефіцієнти змочування матеріалів, хімічний склад сплаву, кінетику процесів розчинення та випаровування вогнетривких оксидів.
